On September 1st, the 36th edition of Rock Master will take place. Arco becomes the global capital of climbing for a day, offering a dive into the history of this passionate sport. It allows everyone to discover the historical connection that has linked this discipline to the Garda Trentino region and the Climbing Stadium of Arco since 1986 – now the home of this event. Several champions from the past and present will be present, including legendary figures like Ondra and Schubert, and among the Italian participants will be Ghisolfi, Piccolruaz, Rogora, and Moroni. Additionally, competitors like Flohé, Grupper, Homma, Pilz, Lukan, and Meul will join.

From the historic Climbing Stadium, there will be a special move to a temporary wall set up in the square in front of the Multipurpose Center Cantiere 26. This location is at the foot of the mighty Castle Rock, a medieval symbol of the city, which will oversee the entire city and all the attendees.

The "Special Edition" 2023 consists of a single event: the Duel Lead. This is a head-to-head challenge in pairs, featuring two mirrored routes of extremely high technical difficulty. The spectacle will be provided by 16 climbers (8 women and 8 men) who will compete for the prestigious Rock Master Trophy. As night falls, the 16-meter overhanging wall will be illuminated, becoming a magnet for the audience, passing tourists, and climbing enthusiasts. They will be drawn by the impressive athletic moves that will keep everyone holding their breath. The passion, adrenaline, and speed of action make Rock Master a highly anticipated and appreciated event for its unique nature worldwide.
